Physical Education classes are designed for the students to have fun. Grades are determined by participation, dressing out (5th - 8th), observation of gym rules, and respect for their classmates as well as their teacher. |

Physical Education Uniforms
Students in grades 5th - 8th are required to "dress out" for PE class. They are required to wear navy blue shorts and a grey Phys. Ed. T-shirt. These are to be purchased from the PE department at a price of $10 for the shorts and $8 for the shirt. |

President's Council on Physical Fitness
Students in grades 5-8 will be participating in the Presidents Challenge on Physical Fitness. Each student will rotate through a series of fitness circuits before being skill tested on 5 tests to measure their flexibility, abdominal strength, upper body strength, cardio endurance and agility. |

PE Notes. . . .
- Please send a note with your child if they are unable to participate in PE class.
Students who will remain "side lined" for an extended period of time must have a doctor's excuse. |
- - Please notify me if your child has asthma, or any other medical condition that I should be made aware.
