Bonjour and welcome to the French website! I am Madame Bowen and I teach French to students in Pre-K through 8th grades. My goal is always to facilitate learning in a fun and nurturing atmosphere. Many students will go home and share what they've learned with their family.

In the elementary grades, I focus on listening and speaking. In the middle school grades, I focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

We seldom if ever have homework; and tests are only for middle school students. Classroom time will be sufficient for completing class work and reviewing for tests. Grades are based on the following: classroom participation, class work, quizzes, and tests.
