I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dallas, a small Catholic university, and my Master of Education degree in Education Administration from LSU. I have 20 years of educational experience in both public and Catholic school settings.
The St. Jude Parish and St. Jude School communities are both very important to me. My husband, John, and I have been members of this faith community since 1991. We have three children and John is a local attorney. Our daughter Kathryn is in high school and our two sons, Matthew and Nicholas, are elementary school students.
I am a member of the Diocesan Principals’ Association as well as various educational organizations. I enjoy participating in ministry as a Eucharistic Minister. My time away from school is spent with my children and family, as well as my family in Shreveport. I am an avid reader and enjoy gardening, cooking, sewing and hiking; I love to spend my summertime traveling. I have enjoyed and am very proud to be a part of the St. Jude faith community.
