Why Your Gift Is Important

St. Jude the Apostle School began its Annual Giving appeal in 2001 to help off-set the additional educational costs that tuition does not cover. As the school pursues its mission, your gift provides resources to help maintain our reputation of excellence.
As the Annual Giving Appeal begins its 11th year, we reflect on the parents, grandparents, parishioners, friends, students and matching gift companies that have generously contributed over $480,000 to St. Jude. Our campaign last year raised $38,464 overall. There were 179 contributors, of which 103 were parents. That means 26% of our parent population made a donation. This year our ONLY goal is to achieve 100% participation from our parent community. The only gift too small is the one not given. All gifts are tax deductible. |

How Gifts Are Used
|
|
As a member of the St. Jude School community, you appreciate what a remarkable value a Catholic education is for your children. You understand the importance of attracting and retaining quality faculty; putting up-to-date technology at students' fingertips; expanding educational opportunities for faculty and staff; enhancing student learning through additional curriculum materials and equipment; and increasing tuition assistance funding.
All gifts to this years campaign will be placed in the 2012-13 operating budget. Our goal for these monies is to replace all of the computers in both the elementary and middle school computer labs allowing our students the opportunity to work with the newest technology and software in thier enrichment courses. The computers that are currently housed in the labs will be relocated to classrooms around campus to create student workstations. |

Ways To Give
|
- Pledge: A pledge allows a donor to plan a giving schedule that is convenient, and may enable a donor to consider a larger gift rather than making a one-time cash payment.
- Securities: Securities, or stock, can be made as a one-time gift or as a payment on a pledge.
- Matching Gift: Your company or business may have a matching gift program that will double, or possibly triple, your donation to St. Jude School. Please ask your company for a matching gift form and send it to the school along with your payment.
