The St. Jude Band is directed by Dr. Kevin M. Andry and Ms. Mandy Schlegel.
Beginner Band and Advanced Band meet four times a week before school from 7:30 to 8:10 a.m. St. Jude also has a Jazz Ensemble, which meets once a week on Thursdays before school.
Students from 4th through 8th grade are eligible for Beginner Band and all students who have had at least one year of prior band experience are eligible for Advanced Band.
The band currently performs at all school pep rallies, a Christmas Concert, a Spring Concert, Solo and Ensemble Festival, Special Person's Day, the St. Jude Parish Fair, and Solo and Ensemble Festival.
