Writing Rules
1. Write neatly in blue or black ink only. 2. Write only on the front of looseleaf paper. 3. Always start with the proper heading. 4. Never write in the margins. 5. Never use symbols or abbreviations. 6. Never use contractions. 7. Draw one simple line through mistake. 8. Always check spelling from a dictionary.

English grades are averaged from the following assignments: 1. homework and participation 2. five sentence journal entries 3. graded writing assignments 4. chapter tests 5. quizzes
