Book List 2011
All students will read one independent book each 9 weeks. You will be assigned one independent book, as a class, for one of the nine weeks and will be tested on the book. You will choose a book from my list for each of the other three nine weeks periods and write a book report- see below.
Follow the guidelines below for the book report. You may not choose a book we will read in class or that you have read before. Independent Novel Book Reports 1) Instruction sheet should be attached to your report. 2) Heading: name,class section, date, title and author. On top of summary page. 1 page summary, single space, 12 font. 3) paragraph statement telling what stands out most about the book. (minimum of 6 sentences explaining this) 100 point total: On Time 10 points Neatness 5 points Directrions 14 points Opinion 30 points Content 41 points |
