Thank you for the many kind thoughts and generous end of year gifts. 7A is ready for the responsibility of 8th grade and being our school leaders. Assignment for summer: Have lots of fun(and read your summer reading)!
  • EDLINE NOTE: Homework/participation grades change almost daily. I will try to update Edline often but it will not be on a daily basis. H/P grade is 50 points for each half of the 9 week period.
Vocabulary - All Class Sections
ALL CLASSES
One Unit will be covered every two weeks. The Unit will be checked on Thursday for completion as a 5 point homework grade. A Spelling Test will be given on the first Friday for a 40 point grade. The Unit Test will be on the next Friday for a 100 point grade. This schedule will remain the same for the year. If this schedule is adjusted (example-Parish Fair/ holidays) the students will be informed ahead of time.
Cultural Literacy - all classes
ALL CLASSES
One word is given each day. A 100 point test will be given toward the end of each 9 weeks. You should learn these words each day as homework. Do not wait until right before the test to study.

Regular - Choose 2 independent novels for the school year-one per semester- and follow the guidelines below for the book report. You may not choose a book we will read in class or that you have read before.
