Feb. 6-10, 2012
"Operation Quench" is in full swing this week. The Community Cougars are collection single serve drink mixes for our troops overseas. All donations will be presented to representatives of Soldier's Angles and our military on Friday, at the Pep Rally. Please support this worthwhile project. See The Cougar for more information.
Our classroomis in desperate need of tissue. If you have a box you can spare, please send it our way. Thank you for considering this!
Edline is now available for parents. Please be sure to acitvate your account as teachers may use this to email you of class news.
Test papers will come home on Tuesday. They must be signed and returned the next day.

Monday, Feb. 6th and 13th School wide Mass on at 8:45. Dress uniforms are required. Please consider a canned food donation for the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.

Literature - 6th grade
|
|
The novel Tuck Everlasting has become our textbook and must be at school and available everyday.
Wednesday, Feb. 8th - Novel test on the Prologue - Chapter 6.
Friday, Feb. 10th - Spelling test on Unit 10; three Core Knowledge words will be added to the list of 20 words.
Friday, Feb. 17th - Vocabulary test on Unit 10; three Core Knowledge words will be added.
Incomplete homework assignments will result in a reduction in your child's grade in this area of Literature assessment.
Don't forget...There is vocabulary homework every week night. The schedule for these assignments can be found in the front of your child's vocabulary workbook.
Any additonal Core Knowledge words will be added to your child's vocabulary book when we start a new unit. |
